Alberto Comesaña and Cristina del Valle met for the first prison term in 1989, when Comesaña was leading a pop/rock band called Semen Up and del Valle was playacting as a solo artist known as Cris. That same class, they stirred to Madrid and started career themselves Amistades Peligrosas. Teaming up with producer Luis Carlos Esteban, they sign language with EMI in 1990. In June 1991, their debut album Relatos De Una Intriga was released, featuring the hit unmarried "Estoy Por Tí." La Ultima Tentación followed in December 1993, loss platinum in Spain and Latin America and acquiring "Me Haces Tanto Bien" victorious Song of the Year. In March 1996, La Profecía demonstrated del Valle and Comesaña were turning to deeper lyrics and less pop style. 1997's Nueva Era became their final album. Amistades Peligrosas disbanded subsequently a press conference in July 1998.
